Setting up Message Templates

Message templates are created to send texts or emails to multiple patients simultaneously and are reusable to contact patients in the future.

Text messages have a limit of 160 characters, including the store's name. If this maximum is exceeded the message will be sent over multiple texts.

Creating New text or Email Templates

Dispensary

From the main menu, go to:

• 6 Contact, F8 Message Templates, then C Create/Maintain.

If the pharmacy is set up for Automated Repeat Reminders, go to:

• 7. Administration, 8. Communications setup, then 1. Maintain message templates

Retail

From the main menu, go to:

• 4 Contacts/ clients, F8 Message Templates, then C Create/Maintain:

Retail and Dispensary

• Press F3 Add.
• Add a Message template name.
• Compose a Text message and/or Email message.
• Press F12 Accept Details to save the template:

The message template is now available for contacting patients or clients.
