Mixture labels typically include the medicine's dose information for clarity and safety. However, in certain cases, such as dose-protected methadone, the dose is intentionally omitted from the label to prevent the patient from knowing the exact strength.
Dispensary can assign an alternate label/receipt name for dose-protected methadone mixtures. This ensures clinical portals, such as TestSafe and HealthOne, receive complete and accurate strength/dose data, while the patient-facing label remains dose-protected as intended. All other Toniq information, such as job sheets, will continue to use the original medicine name.
