What for?
Sometimes it is useful at mixture selection time to see information which specifically relates to that mixture. Notes that Toniq add to the ingredients are not visible at mixture selection time.
For Example:
A common non-subsidised mixture is replaced by a subsidised branded product. Prescriptions come in from the doctor with the generic mixture description and the staff automatically select the mixture. This results in the patient paying for and the pharmacy preparing, a medicine mixture unnecessarily.
Solution:
Edit (Vary) the mixture and add a relevant note to be seen by the staff at dispensing time. The note could suggest that a subsidised medicine exists and can be selected and dispensed.
Select the mixture and VARY it, to add the note as shown
The next time the mixture is selected this note will show on the rx processing screen.
