If unable to find and clear a PRN effectiveness alert:
Step 1: View the alert on the Dashboard and click the resident's name in the alert.
Step 2: You will be directed to the PRN given date and the PRN entry normally shows up, so just mark effectiveness on the page accordingly.
Step 3: If the PRN record is not there, please check the MAR on the previous day (the medicine was possibly given close to midnight).
Step 4: If still cannot find the PRN entry on MAR, please check the Medicine Chart whether the PRN medication has been stopped or changed after the given date. If yes, please call 1Chart for further help.
