There are options in Toniq Dispensary to limit how much patient history and scripts are loaded can be changed.
For example, loads days may be reduced to make Dispensary more responsive, or extended in order to access a patient's historical data. To do this, from the main menu, go to:
- 7. Administration
- 1. Setup
- 5. General options
In the example below data is loaded back to 3rd December 2012:
Patient history load days
0 = Full patient history
The patient history grid has an F10 option to Recall Full Patient History which overrides this limit. Therefore, you may wish to leave script load days at 0 and just limit the patient history load days for faster patient histories.
Script load days
0 = All scripts loaded
Reducing the scripts loaded will affect the date range you can run dispensary reports - if 2 years of script data is loaded, you cannot report on scripts from 3 years ago.
Setting/Resetting the Load Days
These options are not effective until after the Toniq server has been restarted.
You may wish, therefore, to set the load days to a greater number than you think you need for day-to-day processing. However, if Dispensary is displaying slowness issues, it is suggested that only a few years of data is loaded for immediate use.
