Load Days in Toniq Dispensary limit how much patient history and scripts are displayed. The settings may be reduced to make the Dispensary program more responsive or extended to access historical patient data.
Changing Load Days
- From the main menu, go to 7. Administration, 1. Setup, then 5. General options.
- In days, enter the required history for both Patient history load days and Script load days:
- Example: 1000 days will look back just under 3 years.
- Press F12 Accept Details.
- For the new settings to take effect, the server must be restarted.
Patient history load days
- 0 = Full patient history
Recall full patient history under F10 Other on the patient history grid overrides this limit.
If you are experiencing delays loading up patient history, consider reducing this. |
Script load days
- 0 = All scripts loaded
Reducing the scripts loaded will affect the date range reports can be run. For example, if two years of script data is loaded, reports on scripts from three years ago cannot be done.
Setting/Resetting the Load Days
It may be desirable to set the Script load day to a greater number than required for reporting purposes, and limit the Patient history load days, as this setting can be overridden by Recall full patient history on the patient history grid.
However, if your pharmacy experiences computer slowness issues, it is suggested that only a few years of data be loaded for immediate use and not use the full patient history and scripts options.
Remember: changed settings are not effective until after the Toniq server has been restarted.
