Barcode Scanners

• Most USB scanners recognised as a keyboard should work with Toniq.
  • Setup may be required for them to recognise different barcode formats.
    
    
• 2D barcode scanners are recommended.
  • These are best for scanning QR codes and barcodes on ePrescriptions.
    
    
• Barcode scanners should be configured to add a Carriage Return (CR) after scanning.
  
  
• Serial scanners work with Toniq.
  • Setup in Retail and Dispensary is required for them to recognise different barcode formats.
