Printers

Printing in Toniq is designed for speed of use. In everyday scenarios staff do not want to pause and set tray assignments before printing, they want to press Print and have their document print out right away.

Taking that into consideration Toniq recommends that drivers for each paper size/tray assignment in use are set up on each workstation. Toniq allows you to set a printer driver for a role to set and forget.

Dispensary foil printers: 

We recommend talking to the supplier of your foils to find out what printer works best with their foils.

Dispensary labels: 

• Zebra thermal printers (NB: Do not use printer drivers mentioning ZPL; these use a printer driver that is not supported by Dispensary).
• Brother TD-4420DN and TD-4520DN printers (NB: Tested with Brother drivers, Non-Brother drivers may not be supported.)

Normal A4 and A5 printing: 

Use a printer that is recommended by your hardware person as being suitable for your workload.

POS Receipt printers: 

All standard POS Receipt printers will be suitable.

Cash Drawers:

Toniq can work with LPT, Com port and Receipt-triggered Cash Drawers.
