Activating a New 1Chart Account

1. Check the email address used when registering for 1CHART. An email will have been sent containing your 1CHART username and a temporary password that can be used to activate your account.
   • If the email is not visible, check your junk or spam folder. The message will be from [e-mail].
   • For sites using single sign‑on, the activation step can be skipped.
      
2. If possible, copy the password, then select the Login 1CHART web application now button:
   
   
    
3. Enter your username and the temporary password in the fields provided, then select Log in:
   
   
    
4. Follow the prompts to set up your password and your security questions and answers. Select questions and answers that you can easily remember, including the spelling, as one of these questions must be answered correctly each time you log in:
   
   
    
5. When your password and all three security questions and answers are complete, select the blue Activate button. You will then be redirected to the 1CHART login page.
    
6. The first time you log in to 1CHART with your new password, you will be prompted to set up multi‑factor authentication. Refer to 1CHART Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup.
