Guard - Primary Transaction Types

Generally, every transaction in Toniq Dispensary that adjusts the stock level will be reflected in Toniq Guard.

Note: The running Balance in Toniq Guard cannot go below 0. If a dispense transaction occurs that would make the stock negative, the transaction cannot be signed until the stock levels are increased, by receiving an order or through a stock adjustment.

Dispense

Dispense transactions in Toniq Dispensary flow through to the Drug Page, including patient and prescriber details with their identifying numbers (NHI for patients and CPN for practitioners).

More complex workflows (e.g. owes, held scripts, repeats, and cycles) are all handled and will display the quantity dispensed in Toniq Guard. Wastage on dispensings will display as a stock adjustment in Guard.

Stock Adjustments

To adjust the Stock Balance in Toniq Guard, it must first be adjusted in Toniq Dispensary.

To adjust stock-on-hand in Dispensary, press F4 Stock on the medicine, and enter the required quantity in the SOH field.
