Scripts are priced for patients with Community Services Cards (CSC) on the original (/0 or /1). If the CSC expires before the next repeat is dispensed, the error Prescriptions coded 1 require a valid CSC may be seen in the claim:

Was the /1 prescription processed before the CSC card expired?

- If the CSC was valid at the time the /1 was processed:
- This warning can be ignored - the repeat will be paid (barring any other issues).
- Ensure the Rx code for the repeats remains the same as the original (e.g. if the /1 was coded A1, then the /2 and /3 should also be A1).
- If the CSC was not valid at the time of the /1 being processed:
- Change the Rx code of the /1 and all further repeats issued.
- If the CSC was valid at the time the /1 was processed:
