Restoring a Toniq Database

Warning: Restoring a database on your Toniq server could result in data loss. Do not proceed if uncertain.

The Toniq.Database.Restorer can be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Dispensary\ or searching for Restore Toniq SQL Database in the Start menu.

The restorer can restore Toniq backups from Zip files, tqzbk or the unzipped tqsbk files.

A SQL database must be setup using SQL Setup before it can be restored.

Restore database

Source: Either type in the location of the backup or click on the ... icon to browse to the location and select the file.

Destination: This will default to C:\ToniqFIles\SqlDatabase\

Toniq Staff Only

Settings used for data loss failures. Only to be used by Toniq Staff.

Progress

Restore: Begin Restore with the criteria selected under Restore database.

Cancel: Cancel restore.
