NZePS Tokens
From Toniq version 6.0, the Dispensary program can use the NZePS Token workflow to display the legal prescription images.
After the prescriber provides the patient with an electronic Token (i.e. barcode), and they present it at their preferred pharmacy, the pharmacy can print and dispense this prescription:
-
- Scan or enter the Token in the prescription entry screen - he Side Panel will display the legal prescription image.
- Print the script by right-clicking the prescription image in the Side Panel and selecting Print:
- Complete the dispensing in the usual manner.
- Scan or enter the Token in the prescription entry screen - he Side Panel will display the legal prescription image.
Prescription Image Display
The prescription image is displayed in the Toniq Side Panel during dispensing so that all information is easily accessible.
The original prescription image displays in the Toniq Side Panel during:
- Dispensing original scripts
- Viewing existing prescriptions
- Doing repeats
- Unholding scripts
Toniq Inbox Prescription Preview
The prescription image displays on the Toniq Side Panel for the selected prescription in Toniq Inbox without needing to use the View Attachment option:
Auto-print and XHTML Prescriptions Display
With the introduction of the Side Panel, Toniq can auto-print prescriptions with XHTML formatting. Additionally, XHTML prescriptions will display with correct formatting when using the Side Panel.
Knowledge Articles
Toniq Library articles have been added to the Side Panel in suitable areas of the program without impacting workflow. For example, look for the article when next loading your digital certificate:
Furthermore, selecting F1 Help will bring up the full Library in the Side Panel to search for a specific guide.
Hiding the Side Panel
The Side Panel is a browser and can be minimised to view screens behind it. If it is closed altogether, it will remain closed until Dispensary is re-opened (i.e. is exited and re-launched).
If the Side Panel is not required at all on a workstation, it can be turned off in 7. Administration, 1. Setup, 8. Pharmacy setup, 2. Workstation setup, and untick Enable Side Panel. (This is workstation specific and will not affect the display of the Side Panel on other computers.)
