After the Pack Size / UOM Pharmacode Changes on 1 April, products linked between Retail and Dispensary will need to be De-Linked, then Re-Linked.
This is because Dispensary had to create new medicine records for the new Pharmacodes, whereas Retail updated existing products with the new Pharmacodes. However, the link between the two systems remains unchanged:
Steps to correct stock linking
- Retail Products: De-Link stock points from Dispensary
- Dispensary Medicines: De-Link stockpoints from Retail on both old and new Pharmacodes
- Both programs: Re-Link the stockpoints where needed
This needs to be done for each of the Retail products you use. See the full list of affected Pharmacodes below.
